You can contact us on 0870 285 9259 between 9.00am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday, email us on info@recommendedtradesmen.co.uk. Please remember to include your name, and contact details in any communication.
Which of my details will appear on the site?
When you submit a rating on Recommended Tradesmen, we only display your username as we want to protect your anonymity. When you are registering with us, please select a username that will not indicate who you are.
All information you submit to us is held securely by Recommended Tradesmen in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 1998. For more details of how we keep your data safe, please see our Privacy Policy.
Why must I register to submit ratings?
We ask you to register on the site before submitting ratings because we want to gather some details about you. We do this for several reasons:

We do this for security. When registering on the site you must give us a valid email address, telephone number and other details about you. We are constantly checking the iinformation on the site to ensure that it is valid. By having details about the people who give us the rating information allows us to fulfil this task.

We also require your details in order to offer a personalised service and add extra functionality to the Recommended Tradesmen site.
Do tradesmen pay to be on the site?
Business pay nothing to be included on the Recommended Tradesmen site. Any company can be top of our ratings without giving us a penny. However, tradesmen do pay for the "more information" section on their listing which gives additional information to users of the site and allows them to promote themselves.
If you have forgotten your password click on the 'forgoten password?' link on the log-in page. Then enter your e-mail address and click return and your new password will be automatically generated and sent to your email address.
